Maybe the few campire events coming up can at least let the players know the philosophies of their decisions and then the players can decide whether to stay or leave the game. Besides, Blizzard’s hotfixes confuse a lot of players as to their balance policy. Late game with Immolation Aura you also need less Skulls of Limoany which means less farming too. PBolt Embermages are pretty foolproof with frostphase as a get-out-of-jail-free card. I cannot speak for the OP but I would agree generally that continuously nerfing one build is never a good solution, and especially a bad one at this time given that we don’t have lots of viable builds for each Class. There is almost never a reason to not have a shield on any class, ever. The lack of variety of builds or playstyle does not solve the player’s issues both in the single player and multiplayer experience as of now - and damage/dps itself may be contributing factor but never a core one. What I’m trying to say is that there must be ways for various builds which in the end can dish out reasonable amount of damage for whatever types of content (and synergies if group play is required). Not saying that it should get everything but build variations should be more like a “give and take” interaction. Sadly, there appears only one build for barbarian (HOTA) and there’s less room for you to mix and match with the rend build or drawing some “fluidity” from the WW build (i.e. your listed scenario), then the single target skills or rotations need modifiers or aspects which extends the buff (say Attack Speed) or spread the AOE or debuff to nearby enemies so that one can play the game effectively (? or we have to accept that some Classes are definitely better than the other under a limited amount of builds). I have surely covered one possible way for the multiplayer experience, but then again I do not think damage is the real or sole reason of the suboptimal for you or maybe other playershave.Īssuming that Diablo 4 is designed more for solo play against (inevitably) hordes of monsters (i.e.
